Last fall, Lighthouse launched a series of Open Forums to gather the business community together, in the spirit of mentorship. Nothing accomplishes that like putting a bunch of dynamic women in a room together to explore some big topics.
May’s forum was titled Know Your Value; Manage Your Worth, with a mission to explore our relationship with money, and how our belief system might get in the way of or set us free to charge what we are worth.
Guest Speaker Judy Brooks started the evening off, sharing her experiences in founding and growing three businesses, while raising a family. Her warmth and candour were evident throughout as she told the audience lessons learned along the way about setting her value, uncovering her worth and her relationship with money.
To wrap things up, Bernie Lalor-Morton of Focus Forward Coaching walked us through some exercises to dig a bit deeper, and feedback has confirmed there were a lot of ‘aha’ moments.
Download a copy of Your Money Blueprint to continue the journey. Lighthouse will be hosting Bernie Lalor-Morton for a 4-hour workshop on Women and Money.
Heartfelt thanks also to our sponsors for their ongoing support and to those who donated fabulous draw prizes.
