An Attitude of Gratitude
Gratitude is a fundamental part of my life. The core of who I am. And when October rolls in, it is even more amplified. We welcome a new season of beautiful fall colours and cooler, crisp weather and then there is always Canadian Thanksgiving. I consider autumn to be a perfect time to pause and pay homage to all we are thankful for.
A few years back I had a cool little initiative called Life At All Ages. The concept was to have a topic every month and a call out to people to share a few words. It warmed my heart to see everyone share in such a profound way.
Then a couple years ago, I set out to inspire the same depth of sharing and connecting by doing something a little different. For 31 days in October, I shared a daily topic on Lighthouse’s Facebook page and asked people to tell me what they were grateful for. It was nothing short of AMAZING!
So I’m setting the stage for An Attitude of Gratitude once again! Starting on October 1st, visit my Facebook or LinkedIn pages and you’ll see a theme all month long that will galvanize you to practice your attitude of gratitude.
And I’ll be ‘walking the walk’ leading that charge and this quote tells you why.
Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend.
